The break
- Arrive, about 20 seconds. Stand with soft knees, or sit near the front of a chair with both feet flat. Let a few breaths slow down.
- One slow tai chi move, about 90 seconds. The first reps go step by step, then the move flows at your breathing pace.
- One gentle Pilates move, about 60 seconds. Small range, standing or seated, never on the floor.
- Closing breath. Hands rest, one long breath out, and you are done for today.
Why it works at a desk
- Quiet: slow moves, no jumping, nothing to disturb anyone.
- No sound needed: Zenbo shows one large caption per step, so you can keep the sound off.
- No change of clothes: no sweat, no mat.
- Seated or standing: every move has a chair version.
When to take it
Set one reminder at your usual slump, for example 12:30 at lunch. Zenbo sends one gentle reminder a day at the time you choose.
More seated ideas
See chair tai chi and chair Pilates for more moves you can do without leaving your chair.
Zenbo is gentle movement for calm, not medical advice. If you have an injury, a health condition, balance problems or are pregnant, check with your doctor first. Move within your comfort, use the chair version if you like, and stop if something hurts.
Questions
Can I do this in an open office?
Yes. The moves are slow and small, and the app needs no sound. Some people prefer a quiet corner or a meeting room.
Do I need sound?
No. Large captions on screen guide each step, so you can keep the sound off at your desk. A soft chime marks each new move if you want it.
Is Zenbo free?
The daily 3-minute session is free, every day, with no trial needed. Premium adds the 10 and 20 minute flows, both 14-day programs and two extra scroll colours. In the US it is $34.99 a year with a 7-day free trial for new customers, $8.99 a month, or $79.99 once for lifetime. Prices vary by country and the store shows yours before you pay.
